Ran is an expert and lecturer in the fields of innovation, sustainability, and smart cities, with extensive experience in business development.In the past, he served as a professional advisor to the Minister of Construction and Housing and the Minister of Interior, gaining deep knowledge of the municipal sector.Ran has managed the Smart Cities Center at Bar-Ilan University for several years, in collaboration with the university and the Center for Local Government. He also led Israel's Smart Cities Community on behalf of the Ministry of Economy, which included developing programs to promote innovation and acceleration, as well as organizing events (hackathons) in cooperation with the industry.Ran serves as a mentor and judge in the Technological Management track at Bar-Ilan University and conducts workshops and lectures on innovation, sustainability, and smart cities in academia, both in Israel and internationally.Ran holds a Master's degree in public policy and a bachelor's degree in law.
